Default 1986 250R - 350 or 330 Stroker???

I want ESR to build my motor asap. I am not sure which one to go with. He said the 330 Stroker would be better than the 350 not stroked. I don't know the difference. Also should I get the Powervalve? It is $600 more???

I mostly dune in Glamis. If I get MID to TOP END is the bottom end completely worthless? I like to race up hills as well as dunin...??

Thanks so much for all your input and advice!!!!

ESR is on back order for the 310's and 330's right now.

330 stroker would be faster im sure, why not just get a 370 and get it over with.

They didn't offer me the 370. What all is involved in getting that motor? Is it reliable?? Will it cost a lot more than the 350??

cost shouldnt be much off except im sure they'll want you to get clutch on top of a 4millimeter stroker crank and rod.

its basically the 350 big bore (in stock) but with the some stroke baby.

It's explained here at ESR's website.

http://www.esr250.com/default.asp?CategoryID=16

Your center cases need to be machined to accept the stroker crank. Your center cases will also need to be machined to accept the 350 cylinder.

The 370 is the way to go for max power.

Will there be a noticeable difference between the 350 & 370?

Does the 370 have heat problems? Is the powervalve necessary? What size carb should I use and what type of fuel do I use??

Thanks!!

a stroked 330 is basically a 350.

Type of fuel depends on how you want the motor setup as

Powervalve is only needed if you do a lot of low to midrange riding since the valve is typically setup to open at 5k-6000 rpm with peak power around 9500
