Maddog and Zorro, again, I have not ridden the new 450's so I can't give an opinion on them. I personally don't like the Raptors all that much but for a thumper, they're pretty nice. Oh, and the only Raptor I rode was modded like crazy, TCS suspension on Roll Design A-Arms, LSR +4 Axle, plus some bolt on motor mods, so I thought it handled pretty good. I don't know about stock ones though.

 

I have never ridden a yzf 450 either, but I have played around on a rappy alittle. I've been mostly into bikes for the last many years but a bunch of broken stuff ( mostly on me that is) has found me on the seat of a sportsman. I've watched the rappy's at the tracks we race at and was not the least bit impressed. Kind of like a motor modded warrior. All bark and no bite.

How long have the new 450's been around, a year or two? I don't equate best ever with a year or two old model bike. But yeah, both 450's are great bikes and may be some day "best ever"

why is a ds and a SCRAMBLER better then a 250r?

 

Hello everyone,
I grew up in Yuma, Az and now live in the San Diego area and I have ridden and owned many 3 wheelers and quads in the past. (And wrecked a few!) The first 3 wheeler I rode was the Honda 90, then 110 and when the 185 came out I never thought a 3 wheeler could go any faster...it even made it up Comp hill!! lol

So, I bought a 250R 3 wheeler....so very reliable it was pathetic! Then 250R quads, but my brother bought a Banshee. I am 205 pounds so I added a 310CC Kit to my 1987 Honda Fourtrax. That to me was the best bike I ever rode (and owned). I then drove a 250R with a CR500 motor...no lights, crazy shakin beast but man it flew!! Anyone ride a CR500 quad???

But all in all, the 310 KIT was great for duning and for racing! Please reply with any questions/ comments!
