I am thnking about getting some 22inch surtraks for my 400ex for the winter. Has anyone used this tire on theirs? is there another tire I should look at? Snow, Mud, and gravel roads is where they will be spending most of their time.

thanks.

and where is the cheapest place to find them?

The sur traks are great in the mud. I would get the sur traks or the mud machine a/t. You can look at them at www.mudtires.com and then click on the tires.

I don't know about the mudmachines, but my sur-traks are much heavier than my stock tires(shipping was 35 bucks)

I don't know the weight of them. The cheapest I could find for the sur tracks was $45.00 at www.treadepot.com and the mud machine was $68.95 at www.magicracing.com or $64.99 at moto world. There isn't a address for it but you can try the name once. I have the number for moto world 1-800-403-5953 in Michigan.

one of my biggest concerns is how longthe tire lasts. how do these compare in that category?
