Blinking 4wd light on Foreman ES?
Went out hunting this morning and on the ride back I looked down and saw my 4wd light blinking. I then realized that 4wd was no longer engaged. Tried switching from 2wd back to 4wd and no luck. The light was still blinking and I could not get machine into 4wd. Any suggestions. I would rather do the work myself if possible.
Thanks,
Joe

2 blinks is....front final clutch speed sensor or related wire harness or fcc unit.
Start by checking the electrical plug, in the final clutch unit. Is it disconnected or full of water? The final clutch is just aft of the front differential.
The plug is #3 in this picture
front diff 450es

Blinking 4wd light on Foreman ES?
Took a little while to get the wrenches out. Went through the cleaning, drying and putting back together process and light still blinks. There was no real dirt, debris, or water in either the drive shaft sensor or the differential sensor. Wondering how water tight the connectors are or if the sensor is bad. What do you think?

Heres what the service manual says to do.
Check the tire sizes, they need to be the same. ( im sure they are stock, but if you replaced any, it could be the problem)
Check tire pressure in all tires. ( this will change the diameters, they shouldnt be drasticly different...tire to tire.)
You already checked the wire connections.
turn ign switch to off. Unplug the 3 wire plug (grey),that goes to the front final clutch speed sensor unit. hook up a voltmeter positive to the black/orange wire, and the negative to the green wire, on the wire harness side. Turn the key on ....should see 12 volts.
If you dont see battery voltage....open in the black /range wire, or shorted black orange wire.
If you see battery voltage....turn the key back to off. and we'll move on to the next step.
