HRC installed...now won't start
Ok...had the dealer install the HRC kit today on my 450r. I didn't have time to run home from work and get the trailer so I went and picked up the key and had them leave the quad outside so I could come straight back and pick it up. Once I got back with the trailer I decided to test the quad out in the parking lot...just to see if I noticed any difference. Keep in mind I only had enough space for third gear. Anyway...I am used to this quad starting on the FIRST kick EVERYTIME. I hopped on and began to slowly kick the kick starter over once before actually starting. ( I always do this...I dont know why) Anyway right away I notice that the kicker doesnt want to move. Very stiff. Try again...and again...finally getting it to start. Ride around a couple of times...felt great. Get home...I cannot turn the kick starter over. I get pissed and put all of my weight on just to see if the kick starter will move. Nothing. I tried several times with no luck. What do you guys think happened? Did the tech forget to reset auto compression clearances. That is the only thing I can come to!

You are having the same problem that almost every 450r is having. there is a piece of the casting that fell of the inside and has jammed between the kick starter and the side if the case. remove the kick-starter and then remove the side cover then remove the jammed piece of metal put it all back together and enjoy
