anybody have a good idea of how fast a 400ex would go with a Sparks Racing x6 exhaust, ignition timing advance, quadworks stage 2 atv kit (K&N Filter, outerwear, jet kit), keihin 39mm carb, Sparks hi rev cdi box??

 

low 70's with stock gearing i think.....

 

Speed doesn't really change unless you have done some really good work in your motor or if you have change your gearing. I'd say around 71 or so.

 

I would say mid 60's. 70 would be pushing it a little...........

 

the z400 will do about 68 stock the 400ex is a little slower than that....

 

400EX does 65 stock.

 

My brother in law is a cop and radar gunned me at 68.5 mph on my 400ex

 

I have a DVX 400, all stock. And a buddy of mine has a 416ex, with fmf full system,and barnett clutches, and he stays dead even with me on top end... or, whoever gets the holeshot wins... mine will do 70-74 (pavement)depending on grade of land and all...

 

my friends fmf piped 400ex did 71mph on pavement leaning a little downhill

 

i did 74 but felt like i could squeeze a lil bit more outta the 400... i dont really care about the actual topspeed of my quad, just care about how fast i get there...
