I have a problem
The last ride i was on I was booting along brobly going about 60km and i had an encounter with a rut which threw me into a tree i managed to keep the front wheels away but since i have (STUPIED WHEEL SPACERS) that stick out past the nerfs i cliped it good and lets just say my axle now reminds me of a banana on one side
Now i have to make a decision
and before i say what it is i want to tell u that other than the wheel spacer weaking the back axle i love them it makes the machine corner like way better

These are my chocies
1)get a 300ex stock axle ($467 cdn) and have a small wheelbase
2)get a Durablue axle ($900 cdn) and have a bigger wheelbase
3)get a 400EX stock axle for a bit cheaper than the 300ex axle and have a bigger wheelbase but the thing is that i don't know if it will fit and i was wondering if anyone has tried it??????

If yu had a longer rear axle it would have bent too... Don't be too quick on blaming the wheel spacers.. and $900 for a durable axle??? even with the canadian exchange rate a elimnator axle is only like $300 the economy of canada is better than that.. $300 us = $442.65 ca.. humm..

The 400 EX won't work for the same reason the 250R won't ( something to do with the bearing holder). And 300 u.s. is like 500 here. If ya got the bucks get the d.b. I would check the bearings too.

How bad is it bent? I have had a good machine shop straighten axles for $10 to $15. If it looks like a pretzel, I'm sure its hopeless, but it wouldn't hurt to let a shop look at it, if its not too bad.

I had one straightened at a machine shop and haven't had a problem out of it since. He used a press and didn't heat it up. There is an ad in the back of Dirt Wheels for Bills Cycle. That is where I got mine fixed.
