My son is thinking of buying some dirt devils for his recon.Any one ever try this or dirt devils on any other atv? i would like to hear evey ones opinion.

No experience with dirt devils. One suggestion, if you purchase them check the size of the tire. We purchased the Sur Traks for my Recon, the 22" tire isn't quite 22" tall. The tire is great but its 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch shorter.

 

I have Dirt Devils on my rancher, 25" by 12". I put them on some Foreman 450 rims. They are great in the rocks and rough stuff, acceptable in the mud up to about the top of the tires then they give out. They are a 6 ply tire which I need for my back woods hunting adventures. The tires rides pretty good on the trail. It has Butched-up the ride compared to the 2 ply stockers. Less sport feel more trucky ride. All in all they have been great and just right for my set of conditions. If I get into more mud I will go to TSL's or mud runners in the future. I am going to get a set of Dirt Devils put on my Quad tommorow (9-8-2000), I hope they turn out to be good tires for my 300.

 

I have dirt devils on my 300..they are an ok tire but not very good in real deep or sticky mud..they are good for trail/rock's and they are 6 ply so thats even better..but they are pretty good tires

I Have 22" Super Swamper TSL's...I LOVE THEM!!!...they ride good an hardpacked...don't rob any power...and kick but in the mud!! I would HIGHLY recomend them for ANY 250 class quad.
