DKP; I saw my first 05 Foreman today in showroom and they look way better than in pictures. I think the new SUV style plastic on Foreman looks better than on Rincon or Rancher. The extra ground clearance and taller plastic on 05 makes them look better. They have a larger diameter bumper that wraps around headlights that is nice. The 05 Foreman gets my vote as best looking 4WD of the year. Thats pretty good to go from last to first place in one year. I just wish some of the early buyers would get some more ride reports in here.

Anybody noticed that the body work on the Foreman 500 is virtually identical to the new body work on the Rubicon???

 

I bought the first '05 Foreman the dealer got. I have fallen in love with Honda all over again. I had an '04 400 AT and was quite disappointed with it. I went over to Polaris and bought a 500 HO. I had my share of problems with the HO. Polaris seems to have a problem with admitting factory defects and issuing recalls. I had to find to find out the hard way. The HO is up for sale. The new Foreman is just like a big Rancher. It is a blast to drive.

 

ENIGMA-Put in some saddle time, then give us a comprehensive review of the machine. I think my next purchase might be a Foreman!

 

I know its not much, but I've got about 12 hours/110 miles on it so far. If I gave a list of ATV's that I've owned just in the past two years, you guys wouldn't believe me. The purchase of the '05 Foreman makes it number six. That being said, this Foreman is hands-down the best yet. I have been able to find something wrong with every machine (except my Rancher) that gave me an excuse to sell them and get something else. I know it may sound corny, but I have truely been trying to find an ATV to last me forever and I have found it. If its reliability is anything like Honda's reputation, I'm done searching.

 

Honda built its reputation on the back of great old manual transmission machines like the 300 and the Foremans!
