I have a 95 400 forman, I have replaced the shifting forks and then put the motor back together. I did not get the pin for the nutral safety swithc lined up with the groove in the shaft and it bent the pin. I have to replace the pin, is it just a roll pin or a solid pin? Also my repair guide says line the long side of the pin up with the index mark in the case? How do I know whitch way to put the pin longer? Does it matter as long as I get the lights when it is in nutral or reverse?
