400EX Plastic Help
#1
I have a 2001 400ex. i just got it and i noticed it has 2 different shades of yellow on it. im looking to get the original rear plastic. did they make the 400ex the same shade of yellow every year since its been made? and where can i find the oem plastic, not aftermarket (i already have a aftermarket on the rear.) Thankz.

the yellow was/is the same shade... what might be ur problem is one side might have sit in the sun longer then the other causing it to fade. the only place i can think of off top of my head to get oem plastic would be ur dealership which would be very expensive in the long run... most aftermarket fender manufacturers make a shade that is EXTREMELY close to the oem color and would probably be cheaper...

Aftermarket plastic companies suggest you buy there plastic all together because there colors will not match OEM. Is the rear plastic maier? You can get some OEM rear fenders to match your stock fronts. Stock plastic is about half as much as aftermarket plastic. Planet Honda has good prices on OEM plastic it will prolly run you around 70 dollars for rear fenders. Sry Zblaster no offense to you didn't give him correct information.. Its good to see you back on here tho.
