It seems like there similar as in atomizing the fuel up from the float bowl, all though I could be wrong. What's best to use? I live in Colorado and change altitude frequently?

The Dynojet kit is just a set of jets and a needle, for rejetting your carb. Your Rancher is jetted for sea level at the factory, so you should rejet for your new base altitude (the lowest altitude you will be riding). If you bought it in Colorado, it may be rejetted already???

After that, you can do several things to adapt to altitude changes. The dial-a-jet might be a good choice for adapting to altitude changes, but I have never tried it, so I can't give you an opinion on how well it works. Magazine reviews have however been favorable.

Here is what I do! I live in the valley at 1,000', but I ride my local mountains and the Sierras, at over 10,000'. In one ride, I might see an altitude change of as much as 8,000'. It would be ridiculous to stop and rejet during a ride. So, I use the "TPI Valve" (http://www.thunderproducts.com/tpi_valve.htm). I have two of them installed in the airbox lid. As I ascend in altitude, I open them up for more air, then close them as I descend again. Above 10,000', I just pull the airbox lid off altogether. It is a system that works well!

What I am doing, is adding more air VOLUME, to compensate for the decrease in air density at high altitude. See this thread (http://forums.atvconnection.com/mess...word1=altitude)
