How does everyone know how many hours on their quads. Is there an easy way to install hour meters?

I figured some of the more expensive ones had hour meters like they have on boats.

You can buy a boat hour meter and hook it right up to your quad. Most hour meters only have two wires, a hot and a ground. All you have to do is hook the hot wire to something that only has power when the motor is running.

most every dealer carries hour meters for quads, and they install very easy. mine has digital dash, and the hours are recorded on there, just gotta push the right series of buttons.
