anyone know the top speeds on these and which one will win

 

i don't know the speeds but i do know that the 450's will whoop a 250r! Also what mods will each have? Because there's a huge difference in speed when u pipe them.

 

just search for a topspeed post. the yfz is around 72-73 though, not sure about the 250r.

 

I heard that the 250r supose to be around 70. I doubt that thogh. But a highly modded 250r can push 80 I think.

 

why doubt? stock, it will do every bit of 70. modded, yes 80 is not a problem at all.
dont under estimate a 250R.

 

You can lump just about every high performance atv ever made in the high 60's - low 70's mph range. State of tune, driver weight, conditions, ect. could easily make any quad faster / slower than some number thrown out by a magazine or persons personal experience running wide open by their dads old truck. So it does'nt matter.

Wow a stock 250r and a stock yfz run together. I didint know the yfz was only 4 mph faster.

how do you figure a 450 whoops a 250R, in the dirt wheels mag when they show that GranPrix race, Big Six Series , that one guy Jarrod McClanahan rides a 250R and everytime they put the standings in the magazine for that race he's always in 1st. If AMA didn't make that Pro Production rule, most of the riders would probably still be racing 250R's.

I was just asking for opinions on top speeds for stock ones, you can never get an actual top speed cause different riders may be better or worse, and if a stock 250R will beat 400cc's and the 660 raptors, they would be awful close to the 450's
