honda 800 4x4?

I still question the need for an aTV with an engine that powerful. Most of us don't use an ATV to move an house.
But remember all that comes with a price...as in weight and $$$. Yall ready to pay $8000-$9000+ for an ATV?

OK, so maybe "40 more HP" is a bit of an exaggeration... and no one really needs more power than the Rincon currently has... but it would be fun.
It wasn't that long ago when a 400 was a big ATV (or am I just that old). My bet would be that the trend will continue, and in a few years quads over 1000 or even 1200cc will be romping around.
The same thing is true with motorcycles. HD's big twin no longer seems so big compared to 1800VTX and 2300 Rocket 3...

HONDA
I hope you read this
You need to get with the program on power!!!!!!!!! A nice 35 40 hp motor that will make an 700lb or so machine go as fast as an 400ex with a very stable irs suspension and a locker(number one) with no rev limiter (like the king quad). With the Rubicon trany (low gear) ESP mode but redesigned to have more get up and go at take off. I would pay alot of money for this machine and do it the day it came out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know Honda will make one they have to compete but when?????????????????????????????????????????

Honda is SOOO close with a BREAKOUT quad. They got their Exclusives like ESP (WHICH IS THE BEST), GPS, and Hondamatic. THIS WOULD BE THE ULTIMAT QUAD :
- 2006 Honda Rubicon 800 (name could be different)
- Rubicons Transmission
- GPS (optional)
- Traxlok + Diff Lock
- EFI
- A tinny little bit More Ground Clearence on their biggest quad
THINK ABOUT HAVING ALL OF THAT WRAPPED UP IN ONE QUAD!!! omg i would faint
this quad will blow me away! I hope Honda comes out with something close to this
----------------------
2004 Polaris Sportsman 700
'27 ITP 589 M/S
3000 Warn Winch (just added)
2001 Honda Rancher ES
2500 Warn Winch
(FOR SALE)

Yes, that would be the ultimate quad. Personally I think they could do without a locker like Polaris machines, have the front automatically lock when there is a difference in traction such as Bombardier's system. This way you don't have to worry about slowing down/stopping to engage diff lock. Just hit the 4wd switch and go. rooster

Yes a dream come true (but with an prairie type of locker)
But this is a dream thay will more than likely bore out the rincon and add low gear
I will keep wishing mabe one day
