Im looking to get my stock 86 cylinder ported. I want a good mx porting with most of the power at low-mid range. Has anyone had any porting done to a 2 stroke and how much does it help performance? I have heard that sandtrix does good work, is there anyone else? Thanks

 

Look up Eric Gorr he's in Illinois. He did two cylinders & heads for me, midrange power type porting, very good work and made great power, and his prices are very reasonable.

 

i had my 86 250R ported and polished by Baldwin Motorsports, the bottem end on it is sweet, as long as the plug isn't fouled i think it has more bottem end than most 4 strokes i rode, the power you get from having it ported is unbelievable for all the more it really is. The midrange is good too, and as with the top, but most of it is bottem, of couse though i got my 250R done for gncc, so in that you need a little more bottem end.
