I currently have a white bros s-bend pipe. I am using the dynojet 170 (largest one in the kit) with 8 disk's. If i use anymore disk's it runs lean. Right now my plug is a greyish color. But when i run more than 8 disks it is reall'y white.

I want to run more disks, but i don't have a dynojet main that is larger than 170. What could i do?

I have a uni-filter with a large hole in the airbox cover.

I want to be able to run richer.
thx

That's one of the problems (among others) with that kit..their inhouse jet numbers don't co-inside with other brand's sizes. If it were my decision I'd lose the jet you now have in it & buy two or even three sizes fatter from stock in a keihin jet and do your test/plug read again. I'd think with your current no. of discs two would put you close to the right mix and adding more discs will make use of the third jet. If your plug is white, you'd be wise not to ride again until you have corrected the dangerously lean condition.

I've got a stock 400ex with the WB E-series, and the 155 main I got from the honda dealer is just right. My air box lid is still intact, but I don't think removing it would make it run THAT much leaner..
