hey what do you all think the best chain lube is out there? Because I ahve run out & I am in dire need of some & the junk i used last time was the worst i have ever used

 

I didnt know there was a difference between brands?

 

of cource there is,some are a wax,some arent.some are made for non o-ring chains and others are made for o-ring chains,some are synthetic,some arent..

i think i have some pj1 stuff now,seems to work good..

 

i spray WD-40 on it once in a blue moon.

 

Anything but the sticky stuff. That is why I like the chain wax the best. Use the sticky stuff in heavy dusty conditions or sand and your chain will be wasted in a mater of hours.

 

well in the summer my rides are dusty & dry & fall through sprong they are very wet & muddy so thanks for lettin me know about the sticky stuff. i think i am just gonna go with pj1...everyone i talk to says thats the best just wanted a second opinion from the guys off here.

 

Get an oring chain and just use spray silicone on it once in a while to keep the orings fresh and keep it from rusting. Any kind of tacky lube will collect dirt and cause speedy wear. Ive gotten over 8,000 miles on my last chain and sprockets from doing this.
