deffinitly sounds like the reverse inhibitor, to me

 

look i know this sounds REALLY stupid, Maybe the choke is sticking. i know you guys probably already checked this. But i guessed everything that was already said on here and this is my last guess.

 

hehe, nah choke not stickin =) . definally electricall, other day was riding , at night kinda cold out riding decent sept for my sputting past half throttle and i turn my heasd lights on and it DIED right on the spot turn em off started right up. man lol confused. why would it shut off if i turned the head lights on??

 

sounds like the stator coil to me
