416,426,440 kits, how reliable??

I was just wondering how reliable these bore kits are and can u still run 93octane fuel in them??

A lot of guys will tell you that they are still rock solid, but you definately loose reliability. The larger the overbore, the more prone you are for big trouble.

the way i see it, the 416 would be a good choice. Less power, but still a substancial increase. Also if something bad happens, you can always go to a 426, then if you mess it up again, the 440 would be the last choice.
