last week we had a snow storm dropping only about 5-6 inches and my 400ex doesnt liek the realy wet heavy snow on the trails. the road had about 3 inches of snow on it so i ripped down teh road about 1 mile to my friends house. he got on his quad and we went for a rip down the road only about an 1/8 of a mile to pull into a turn out but the snow plows leave abouta 2 ft. snow bank on the side of the road from plowing. i was leading and i had my quad PINNED goin down the road and then i decided we were gonna pull into the turn out and i pulled into it @ too much of an angle and my right front tire caught the snow bank and it jus literally threw me 15 feet through the air. and the quad just bounced once and in the air did a full turn and a half before landing on the handlebars. i didnt feel one thing. but my quad did. the handlebars were bent WAY down. my nerf bar was been almost to the rear tire. and my tire went flat. my left front tire also got bent a lil bit. but i bought new black moose handlebars that are taller *handles way better!* and i heated up the footpeg where the nerf is bolted to, with asetaline *dont know how to spell it* and i ben that back. my tire always goes flat cuz the bead was messed upto begin with but i ended up buying some new mudshark tires and ITP rims. i also bought a composite bashplate for the chain/sprockets. i'm lucky there was snow otherwise i woulda been in the hospital. the only car i saw on the road that whoel time riding was the one going by me as i crashed. he went buy givin me the thumbs up.. laughing @ me as i was laying there in the snow. haha. but .. it's a honda so it started up NO PROBLEM. after laying upside down for more than 4 minutes. --it wasnt even flooded :-)

6 years ago when i first got my recon i got on a straight plowed field, got it up to 5th gear and BAM i hit a ditch, i didnt feel a thing and had my eyes closed, when i opened my eyes i was laying on my back and my recon was still rolling down this hill and still runnig, i got up and noticed a pain in the back of my head, i took my helet off and there was a HUGE dent in the back of my helmet, i looked where i had landed and there was a rock where my head had landed, besides running into trees and going off a 6 foot ramp in the woods standing up and having a tree limb knock me off my bike in mid air thats pretty much it, ALWAYS WHERE YOUR HELMET THOUGH, i put myn on my handlebar and its always there, that way i dont have to look for it, i hop on my bike, put my helmet on and take off

LoL thank you, but everyone does need to wear a helmet.
plus in the winter a helmet will keep your head warm

well the most embarrasing thing that has happened to me wasnt really a crash, i got stuck in a huge snow bank at the side of the road and got covered in snow from a passing snow plow. i got hit in the face with a branch when i lost control and went off a trail in the winter. not any recent crashes, im still waiting for my leg to heal, broke it in 6 places when i slipped the peg and ran it over. feemer (sp?) was the most painful bone i have ever broken
