ok im thinkign about building up an xr50to beat a crf80 what part will i need, also how much does it cost to get your engine bored out at a machine shop?

 

It was $50 bux for my 300ex at .40 over.

 

it depends on where you take it and depends on if a good job gets done, some places around where i live only costs around 30 bucks, but they bored my LT250R out too much and it took almost 2 weeks to get back, and other places charge more, but you get the job done right and it won't take as long, boring a cylinder out doesn't take a whole lot of time at all, it's simple for some of the prices people charge, i bored a few cylinders out for some friends i knowed when i was still learning at school, but now since i'm working at a machine shop that doesn't do anything like that i can't bore them out anymore

i don't think just boring the engine out will get you to beat an CRF80
