Need to know what a good price would be for a leftover 04 Rubicon ?
Dealer wants $5500 + tax . He will also sell me the 42 month extended
warranty for $340 . What do you guys think ? What have the rest of
you paid for the same machine ?

Since thee dealers are trying to get rid of there 04' models to make room for there 05's they should go pretty cheap. Also, the best time to buy a quad around here is Febuary when the dealers pay taxes on there leftover models.To answer your question my brother got a new 04' for $4900 without the extended warranty, if your dealer doesnt except this offer but will match another dealers prices then look around in your local trader papers,(the usually free booklets that have stuff for sale), they're should be dealers with prices on 04's in there. This is how i found my z-400, my dealer would match prices so I looked around and found a dealer selling off there 04's pretty cheap and had my dealer match that. Hope this helps!

04 rubicon at 5500? thats a good deal. Brand new its just over 7,000. And the 2005 are alot different so thats why you are getting a lower price. I spent about 8,000 on my rubicon last year, with a plow and a long warranty. I got ripped of but I needed the atv that day for a huge snow storm

 

We bought ours in early 2001, we paid more back then than you do today. Best price we could find was $6600, sales tax and license took it to almost $7100. That was a good deal here back then.

 

got my 2005 rubicon for $6185 brand new, not the gps but damn nice price

 

Theres a place in MS that sells them for 5,500 and this place is the cheapest place ive ever found and ive looked every were on the internet you wont fint it cheeper so yea i think that 5,500 is a good deal but you should make him drop the tax or the price of the atv so you can get it for 5,500 otd will and deal with him its worth a try but if he dont drop the tax its still a good price. And by the way i wouldnt even worry with the extended warranty 90%of the time they will make excuses not to fix it and just blame it all on you but that ones up to you just my 2cents.

 

i payed $9700 cdn for my 04 rubicon and it listed for $10499.
i just told the dealer that i payed full price for the first quad i got off of him and if he wanted to sell me another he better make it a good deal or i was going somewhere else.
and that was with the gps.

 

the best price I found (last month) was $5575 otd (5500 for the machine, 75 for "paperwork", no freight or prep), no tax in NH. I will have to pay sales tax this spring when I register.
