I'm going to sell my banshee, and thinking of buying a 450r, has anyone had any problems with theirs since you've bought one? Are they pretty reliable? Is there anything else I should know or be aware of?

I havent had any probs with mine, had it for over a year.

 

My cousin had his lock up after about 20hrs on it. The dealer said the top of the head wasn't getting any oil and the cam holder cracked and siezed the lifter and the piston hit the valve.

 

Do you know why that happened? Just messed up from the factory? Is this a common issue?

the only problem i have is keep it on 4 wheels (my fault). no thats not common

 

No problems at all. I would like more rebound damping on the rear shock.

 

Do any of you guys wish you had reverse? I would love to have it, but I think I'd rather have power and handling over a quad with reverse.

 

I ride with some kids that have 450r and they love them, i would not be afraid of a honda they are almost bullet proof. Just have to kick start though but that isn't a prob for you since you had a banshee before

 

yea, I like kick start, with my luck, my battery would die on an electric start quad... lol

 

I love mine!! Wish it had electric start at times...................
