i have a 2004 honda 400ex sport quad, and i need new plastics, will the new honda 450 plastics fit on it, or is there a company that makes 450 style plastics that will go onto the 400. i am looking into getting a header for the same bike, and i was wondering if a header will make the quad lose power on top or bottom end?

 

Im willing to bet 05 400ex plastic will fit right on. But than dont forget you will have to buy an 05 headlight assembly as well.

 

Buy the 2005 plastic. The front fenders run about 80.00 and the rear about 90.00. the headlights run at least 200.00. all from the dealer

If you want a header you will want a whole exhaust system.

You have to tell us why you need all this. I've had my 400ex since 99 and the plastic is used but still ok.

If you have good rear plastics they are the same as the 05 the front are the only diff. I believe.. I heard that the 450R plastics will fit but that is just hearsay

 

I have to disagree with my neighbor in Pryor. I would think they would fit but the back plastics are diff that 400ex. They have some sharp angles on the outside lip....I think.
What happened to the 04 400 plastics?????? (I AM WRONG!!! LOOK AT Fl45's PICS----SORRY RON!)
