Will all year 250R axles interchange with 400ex axles?
A friend need a new axle for his 400ex 1999? Will an older 1981-1982 axle out of a 250R work?

What years are interchangable?

Well I used an aftermarket (Lonestar) axle from my 86 in my 99 400EX. BUt I had to change the whole set up.. THe hubs, brakes, and the bracket that the brakes bolt to, axle nut. It worked, but the older or stock I am not sure.
