i was woundering if i could put scoops on my 300ex? and what do scoops actually do?

 

Sure you could but it would be pointless. Ive never been able to get a 300ex to over heat no matter what mods(strokers ,big bores ) were done to it. Maybe if you run it super lean, let the motor plug up with mud,and drive up hill all the time some air deflectors might help otherwise thier just added wieght and maybe some bling value.

 

Yeah its hard to make a 300ex engine over heat but i bought a Jagg external oil cooling system anyways for the peace of mind that there is definatly 0% chance ill ever have a problem over heating. Even when those 100 degree summer days come.

 

How did you pipe it in. I bunged one into the oil line to the head. It worked good but was overkill for my climate.

 

No tapping at all.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img] The kit comes with a cover that replaces the cover where your oil filter goes. Theres two 90 degree elbows tapped into that. It comes with two rubber hoses and an oil cooler that clamps onto your frame. the part number is the same for 250x and 300ex quads. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
