sparkk plug for 400ex

Default sparkk plug for 400ex

what is the best plug for a stock motor with K&N and jet kit. I run av gas in it (which works awsome) but i need a new plug and and to know which one and where to get it

get a NGK spark plug. i dont know part number, but just go down to ur honda dealership and they should have them. i dont think autozone and places like that will have them. i know here advanced auto didnt have the NGK for my CR, i had to go to a motorcycle shop to get mine. it will prolly be a little high though.

well the number would be awsome. i am trying to buy them in some kind of bulk because i know alot of people who need them. any online places. I work too late to get a to a dealer

i am sure i could but most dealers around me want me to go there and get the number....i will try though

Standard spark plug number for NGK is DPR8Z and X24GPR-U is the DENSO number

Honda calls for a DPR9Z ( NGK ) or a X27GPR-U ( Denso ) for extended high speed riding.

You could have just pulled your plug out and gotten the number off of it! Unfortunately, there isn't any Iridium plug that is speced for this machine, so just use the standard NGK.
