Default 2-Stroke Oil?

I have been running Bel Ray 2-stroke oil for quite some time now. Have been having some slight scoring of the piston and premature failure of rod bearing with it. I always mix at 32:1. Others have suggested I try Maxima 927 or YamaLube 2-R. I'm thinking of going with the 927 for awhile and see if that helps. Any suggestions?

927 is some good stuff. It isn't the best smelling, though.

Amsoil is the best oil around.

Thanks guys, I may try some 927 when I get the R running this weekend. How much more expensive is the Klotz than other oils? Is it harder to find on shelves? Thanks again.

I've been using 927 for years with no problems.

I'll second that one! I too had issues with BelRay... Virtually no wear with the Ams after switching.

really!, wow im glad i have read this, i use bel-ray H1R in my rm, and my friend uses belray MC-1 in his blaster, i never ever had a problem with belray, seems good are you sure its the oil. my rm has always had this run in it, coupled with gearsaver, for the most part i like belray, and my bike still looks new. after harsh reving.
