wats better for a 13y/o just learning to ride

I would say go with the z350. My dad owns a z, and i ride it here and there. It handles grate and corners well. Its a pretty smooth ride over all. It also wheelie's GRATE!!!

 

My friend has a z250 and it nice perfect for a 13 year old, it has great power for a 250, great shocks, handles nice and there a a nice amount of aftermarket parts for it if you ever get bored. I rode a 250ex before and have to say it is a great all around quad but the z250 is a upgraded version of the 250ex. Both great quads but if you want more power than the z is the way to go.

 

id say go with the 250ex . its reliable and u can upgrade it alot. but ive never rode a z250 .but i still think the honda is the better way to go.

 

Here we go, something i can help u with, the z250 is WAY better than the 250ex, i started out on a Honda Recon and loved it, i started looking for a racing 250 to play around on, the 250ex has the EXACT same engine as the recon, not much power for a sport quad 250 either, thaz y i picked the z250, weelies VERY easy and is really fast for a 250, i like it looks to, myn was white, pretty cool, but i wanted serious power so i got an Eiger for the mud around here, now i have a polaris predator 500, get the z250, after riding both u will know your choice, it wins in every aspect

ya get the z250, the ex looks like crap from the front. ive ridden the 250ex but not the z. i heard the z was faster but that the shifting wasnt as good as the 250ex. thats just what i heard, so maybe not true.....

 

The Honda 250ex does not have exatly the same engine as the recon. The changed the bore and did some things to the 250ex engine having at least 10 more horse power then the recon. My opinion is go with the 250ex. It is very reliable becaue I own a 01 250ex and I have rolled it a few times and that hasn't affected it at all. Great suspension and great power. Go with the 250ex!!!!!!!
