Hey HondaBubba,
A good buddy of mine used to have the exact same TRX 200SX as you (1988). I've been looking for pictures of an '88 200SX (red plastic/gray seat model) everywhere on the web, but haven't found any. If you get a chance, could you take some pictures of your quad? If you have or take any, email them to me please. Thanks.

hondabubba, getting back to the pipe for the 200sx, if you havt already ordered the cobra you could get a fmf titianium 4 which are only 179.99 for the muffler. the mufflers are universal but fmf makes mid pipes to adapt the titanium 4 to the stock head pipe but they only make them for higher performance quads like the z/kfx 400 and the 400ex and some others. the titainium 4 is susposed to be a great performaning pipe also and the blue anodizing looks pritty cool. anyways, you could just buy the universal 14 " muffler(14" is the best perofrming but loudest) and have some one make you a custom mid pipe. That is what im planning to do for my lakota because there arnt many exhaust options for it besides a few dg's and the supertrapp IDS2. CWR, the company that it did all of my engine work like the cam and piston and valves said he could make me a custom mid pipe for only 25 - 30 bucks. Greg(the owner of cwr) probally can make you a mid pipe too. His web site is www.cycleworksracing.net and the phone number is 717 637 1907. if you could have CWR or some one else make you a custom mid pipe and you get the titanium 4 it is deffinatlly worth paying the 50 - 75 bucks more than the cobra costs because cobra pipes are not the greatest. you could also get a universal e series or a megamax if you want to get somthing that costs less than the titanium 4 and the mid pipe would cost

Here is an address link to some pics of my 86 Honda TRX 200sx
I recently took the mud tires off and put much lighter rims with Fast Trekkers on, need to find someone to try it out as this bike is a garage queen, I always ride the Ozark. If anyone knows what kind of aftermarket pipe this bike looks like it has let me know, its been on a while, kind of loud. Cobra maybe?
