450r question
You wont gain any top speed with the HRC kit, you'll only get there quicker. Either way a stock geared 450R will go almost exactly 79MPH at the rev limiter. there was a top speed/gearing test in I believe the last months Dirtwheels magazine..... Check it out, with only gearing and tire size changed they got a stock 450R to go 90MPH right before the rev limiter.

One of the magazines had an article on this recently. Sorry I don't have the copy right in front of me, but this was a desert race team trying different gearing combinations. Eventually you get so high that it can't pull 5th gear anymore, so those don't count. The top practical speed was in the high 80's, as I recall. By the way, the Honda edged out the Yamaha by 1mph. Not sure what mods they had. I will try to find the article and post the actual numbers.
Remember that speed without suspension is a recipe for disaster!
