Handlebars? Fat or Normal

Who uses what? I am looking at a set of Fat bars. I have a set of renthal bars now. Can someone tll me the benefits of a fat bar?

Well whichever you choose. Just remember this, If you wreck hard enough your gonna bend something. What costs more? The handlebars or the steering stem?

I like the fat ones, because you don't have to deal with a crossbar. TAG T-2's with the TAG mount is my preference.
