I think a stock 350 raptor would beat a stock 300ex.My 300ex has a pipe filter & has been jetted and it will get off the mark quicker every time but it just has'nt got the top end to finish the job.

 

My friend has a 300ex and he beats my other friend on his 400ex easily through trails. The main reason is because the 300 sits low and can take the turns alot quicker and safer than the 400ex. So i think the 300ex would beat a 350 because the 350 sits up high like the z.

 

Both the Warrior and the Rap350 have a 36mm Mikuni carb. The difference in carbs is that the Rap350's is a BSR, whatever that means. They're both the same size.

I've never heard anything about different gearing in the transmission as someone stated above. The only difference there may be the sprockets. The 20" tires the rap has actually takes away from top speed over the Warriors 22's, but sprockets can easily make up for that ...

 

I don't know who would win and no one arround here that i know has a 350 rappy but if i find one i'll let ya know who wins. Who do you think would me or him ? check my page for my mods!

 

It might be close, but if you put the pipe and jets into the Rap350, he's gone again ... Looks like you have some really fun riding areas .. are they close to your home or do you have to drive a while to get there ....

 

I thought the raptor 350 got a little different head? Either different or reworked from what the Warrior had? You guys have to remember that the 300ex has a rev limiter on it and the warriors/Raptors do not.

 

I have a 300ex with a pipe and jet kit and my buddy has a 350 and the 350 still beats me on top end.

I would have to say the raptor 350 also, u just cant beat it on a 300ex, and it looks pretty good to if u know wut i mean

 

rappy 350 is faster stock for stock, with a pipe and the other work done i can take 400ex's untill 6th gear
