Default reliability

How reliable are bored up 250Rs(350)? Are they high mantainance? Are they delicate? Im intrested in a NICE 250R on ebay need to know.

It depends a lot on the build, the porting, the compression, and a host of other things. They are much more tempermental than 4 strokes but the power is amazing.

A 350 is typically a race only type of bike, typically not the best trail machine. Of course this would depend on the build stats. But regardless a 350 is not just a bore job, its an aftermarket cylinder and head setup. The 250R's like to crack frames too...

Ok I just realized that there are literally dozens of things you need to take into consideration before you buy a machine like this if you dont know what you are getting into. Go to the honda forum where this topic belongs and search. Then ask the questions that you still have with a new thread. Maybe if we're lucky a moderator will move this thread to the honda forum for you.

It has the CT kit on it. Also do they seize easy?
