Get 400ex to go faster

Default Get 400ex to go faster

What are some easy things to get my 400ex to go faster? sprockets? pipe? jet?

all that will help but your best bet is a cam and piston. the prices will be cheaper than a full pipe too.

I'd go with a pipe and air filter first......... Then go after your cam and higher compression piston if you want to.

Alright...Thanks.....What about different wheels...somewhere on here they said that different wheels on a 450 would make it go 10 mph faster...Will that work for my 400? maybe just a little faster

different sized tires man... your stockers are 20's im guessing. The taller the tire the more top speed.. Keep in mind you lose acceleration as well... but YES 22 inch tires might give you a 3-4 mph gain. not wheels! Sprokets are the cheapest and probably easiest way for a little more top speed add a tooth on the front or drop a couple on the back...

change gearing before you change tires unless you just want taller or shorter tires for your riding style.
