Anyone ever mount a mirror on a 400ex or other sport quad?

I am going to ride Hatfield McCoy in April and thought it would be helpful in keeping track of my fellow riders in the group.

 

sounds like a good idea. i hate leading the pack and turning around to see noone and having to wait. but with my style of riding it would probably break off within 30seconds.

 

Robbls, Check some local shops. Sportbikers (street) often change there mirros to the style that actually mount on the bar end. I looked at some for the same reason but never bought them.

If you do it let us know how it works.

I looked at some for Mountain bikes, but most of them mount on the end of the bars. I am sure I would knock that off on the first ride.

 

I ran across three guys riding this weekend that had mirrors mounted on their racks. I asked where they got them and they told me the local advance auto stores here in town. The mirrors had small brackets that are designed to attach to truck mirrors. They looked great.
