So what's the difference between a Summit winch 3000 and a Tusk winch 3000 from Rocky Mountain ATV. Besides $40.00. Both look like rebadged superwinches to me.
I know this is the same old question but,,,,,,,if you have either, would you recomend it. I imagine the main use for me would be plowing in the winter.

 

I wouldnt go with either of the 2. Go with a Warn Winch. The most reliable and most easy to use. You can get them for pretty cheap now.

 

I have a tusk, and i see the summit come wtha solenoid, thats why i just placed a 94$ order to get the new upgrade kit and 2nd day air so i can plow this weekend. I love mine, its very strong. Ex rider is right though, the new warn 1500 is chesp i just dont know if the mount is the same between the winches. Good luck.
