I just called highlifter and they said that the Rubcion did not have enough low end to properly pull itself with the 28 inch highlifter tires. They told me to wait for the performance kit that is comming out before I purchase those tires. TEXDOC2 is this correct? Or are they just trying to get me to buy the $400.00 performance kit?

Please re-read what I posted. I don't think I can make it more clear. Mine pulls them fine. You will have to ask them why they are saying that. I don't know what they are basing that upon.

There basing that on the fact they are coming out with a power kit and want and need to sale them. Our 27" Vamps on our Rubicon has had no problems. The Rubicon has PLENTY of low end mid range, and High end for the Vamps which are heavier. I would Believe TXDOC2 before highlifter personally. Thanks for a great article TXDOC2.

The Rubi turns my 27 inch bugs like they are stock tires. It has plenty of power.

Thanks for answering my ?'s.It looks like I might order the 28outlaws,because I do most of my riding in deep nasty mud.I like the Idea of them being wider, and taller.I sure would like to see a picture of your bike Txdoc2,I bet it sure turns some heads.

My pics are in the Yahoo "briefcase" below. Cut and Paste it and you can find them. There is a "SwampDonkey", with the "e" on HighLifter's forum alot, but he rides Polaris, I believe. Anyway, you're welcome. I will post some pics of it stuck, we got almost 3 inches of rain Sunday.

Tex:
Great review of the Outlawed Ruby! Sounds like the machine and tires are working out great for you. Also, thanks again for finding the info on tire weights we talked about a few days ago, really appreciated it!

TxDoc2, you post was written in an excellent manner. Thanks for the pictures. You have given me several good ideas and a better understanding of how my new Rubi will look. BY FAR, your Rubi is the best looking one I have seen.. Thanks again. Ride RED.
