will this work since from what im told its the exact same engine

 

It will but you need to either re-use or purchase a new kick start block off. Actually not sure if that was a honda part or not, but you still need it.

I never really understood why they didnt just use the same cover in the first place since it makes accessing the clutch so much easier.
