Well I got in a new starter, and hooked it up. My solenoid is bad, so I took it out, and connected my starter cable directly to my batterys positive cable, and the ground on my battery is on tight. It does absolutly nothing when I connect them toghter. Is there a small chance my batterys dead, or is there anything im doing wrong.

 

one way to know if your battery is dead is 2 turn your headlights on
