well, I have 100% zero experence with that quad, but i think some responce is better than none From a typical honda standpoint, there usally are one nut and one lock nut. Loosen the axle nuts and the lock nut, then turn in the inner nut unil you have a inch or two free play on the upper chain. then tighten up all nuts

If you have loosened the two allen-head bolts on the very back of the axle, loosen them quite a bit, then see if the axle will move. Don't use such a big pry-bar and too much leverage and break it. If that doesn't do it, something else is wrong inside the axle housing.

the cam on the alloy bearing housing (gives you the adjustment, can wear down causing you to close the gap right up in the clamps....(where the allen keys nuts are).....this giving you no adjustment

this cam wearing maybe causing the alloy housing to hit on the inside (someone might of put a grease nipple on the housing?...(they don't come std)
ya never know
......the adjuster on the left side should move easily with a small screw driver
DON"T FORCE IT
FORCE=EXPENSIVE

you don't need to take a link out of the chain?.....your not right round on the adjuster

it should move......maybe you not holding your tongue in the right position?
