ct 310 kit

There has been a lot of discussion on the CT motors at another site. If you're gonna keep your R, try this site...

Seems that some people favor the CT motor while the majority seems to like LRD. Also, if you're going with a big-bore kit, why not just go ahead and get a 330? Don't know if there is that much difference in price.

I would go with psi performance. They build 265,330&425 kits and are getting more horsepower out of ther motors now than any other motor builder . Check out there website www.psiperformance .com

i have a ct310 and love it. alan knole at ct designed the cly and has la sleeve cast them for him. so if you buy a cly kit from someone else ct makes money on the sell because ct sold the cly. to the other tuner.that's why ct kit is 895.00 and everyone else's is higher.you get the cly ported to your choice of configuration, head w/removable chamber, piston, rings, wrist pin, gaskets, cir clips, and jetting. my only complaint is that the jetting was way off, due mainly to my choice of carb(38pj).IF YOU NEED THE BOTTOM END REBUIT go with the 330, because the cases need to be bored for the sleeve to fit.the 310 is just a bolt on. if you are going the 330 kit ct now offers a power valve cly.for like $300 more which will greatly broaden the powerband. if you want to feel the difference between a power valve 250 and std. 250 ride your fourtrax then get on a new 250 dirt bike, then add about 20% more for the 330.
