gpscape, or no gpscape

Went to the local dealer here in MB, Canada and looked at a 05 Rubicon Trail Edition. Its got the gpscape and the adjustable suspension, but anyway is the gpscape hard to use? Kinda seems complicating, no?

How much money difference is the gps option?
The reason I ask, is because for about 90 bucks you can get a good hand held gps, and if theres a break down, it nice to have a hand held gps to find your way back. There are lots of mounts and power adaptors, to put it on a quad...and if you ever sell, you keep the gps for the next one.
The therory behind them are the same, its just the buttons and setting on the specific gps thats different. If the owners manual isnt specific enough, there are lots of how to books and vhs tapes out there on how to use them. Most are very simple to operate.
