I have a 2004 trx 250 fourtrax I was wondering what the air fuel screw setting is on it. I'm talking about the screw that is on the front side of the carb facing the intake valve . I took the carb apart to clean it out and can't find the paper I wrote the # of turns on

 

Back it off to about 2 turns out, and fine tune from there.

 

Like Hondabuster said, set it at 2 out, once the unit is running, turn it in until the engine starts to struggle, back it out counting the turns, the idle should pick up, keep going until it starts to struggle again. turn the screw in half the turns you counted turning it out'
