Default 400ex Brake Shim?

Did you reuse the shim that comes in the rear brake caliper on your 400ex or similar machine?

I just installed new pads and I think I am going to try to run it without the shim and see if it wears any faster or slower.

PRM sells tabs you can weld on to your subframe, so you can cut the old grab bar off and attach a new one.

They also sell a grab bar that is designed to bolt over the existing grab bar if you want to avoid the welding and cutting.
