Im looking at buying a 2003 Honda 400EX with DG Nerf Bars and Brand New Holeshot Tires in the back, he wants $3600 for it......Is this a reasonable price or am I gettin ripped off?

well he wanted $3900, and then $3800.......i said i would give hime $3500 and he settled at $3600!

I have a friend who paid $4,600 OTD for his 2003 brand new. I paid $4,900 for my 2003 and $5,100 for the 2001 when it was brand new.

As far as add-ons go, you get about 25% of the original cost. Tires are a maintenance item so they add no value.

If the quad is a 2003 that sat in the garage for 2 years then it might be worth close to $3,600. If it has been ridden, then it is worth about $3,000 tops.
