i ordered a white brothers promeg silencer for my 01 300ex, i allso got the wb's works oversized head pipe. I wanted to know what they sound like, how much hp will i gain, and how does the oversized head pipe differ from the stock i cuently have on?

2001 300ex dg alloy nerfs, white brothers pro meg silencer , white brothers works oversized head pipe , k&n air filter, and turkey hill gas (super premium) to keep me going

 

i have them on my 300 and i and most of my friends think it sounds real good, it is pretty loud though but i don't mind at all. The oversize headpipe is just a little larger diameter i think. Together i think they provide a very good increase in power, and it wheelies alot better now.

Yes, this is a great pipe, and silencer combonation. They sound great on low end as well as mid range and top. They produce a potent power gain all through the powerband. I have the FMF Powercore IV-2 SA on my 300 w/the stainless hi-flo header. It produces alot more power than my setup. Loud, yes, but the loudness is a small tradeoff for the supreme power gain.
