I just bought a 2005 300ex.
What mods would you have installed?
Do you guys leave it stock or make changes

 

Well if you feel like it needs more power,get you a pipe,air filter,and rejet.

 

get either itp holeshots or maxxis razrs instead of keeping the balloons

 

Congratulations! The little 300 may be the finest tight trails bike ever. Wish I had kept mine.

Nerf bars and full chassis and swingarm skid plates.

Loose those balooney tires.

The stock header is pathetic! Get a larger header, an aftermarket muffler, an EHS Racing airbox lid, UNI air filter, and a rejet.

 

get a fmf power core 4, dyno jet, k&n filter, razr tires and some nerfs and skids mine workded great
