Default Honda still the best on earth?

What do you think, is Honda still the best on earth? Seems to me that Honda's are still the most reliable but I'm not so sure their the most fun or the most innovative? I know this is a Honda forum but do you think their keeping up?

I will agree with your opinion. I have owned a fair (8) number of Hondas over the years. Also had a Suzuki , Yamaha and Bombardier to round things out.

My Rincon for example may not have the most power or highest ground clearance but it's build quality and reliablity are second to no one. Honda's seem to be the Timex of quads and motorcycles; they "take a licking and keep on ticking."

I will always want more and better; but I am content for the most part to let Honda take their time to deliver it with the solid engineering and build quality that has always left me well satisfied with my previous purchases from them.

Hope the next Rincon delivers something "more and better."

There is a reason that they are still the most popular brand in ATVing, it is not that they are that they are the fastes or most features, the majority of riders are not really conserned with that, they look for something that is going to last a really long time

Honda delivers on that.

i am not doing this to get bashed just giving my 2 cents

i used to like honda's i have owned 4 of them. my dad is on 6-7 not sure they are reliable but like they say they are still jap made i have since moved to polaris i like spending my money on us made equipment i am not saying a polaris is better than a honda cause it really depends on the rider. but you know for the last couple of years honda's prices are going up but not thier sizes or quality so as i said i dont know about them being the best on earth cause their are a whole lot of good quads out there now

Honda's are the most reliable because you can't take them anywhere. Golf carts are reliable but I wouldn't want to take one through a bog.

just a bunch of japps? what the heck does that mean? Buy American? I might not have a job if the Japanese didn't buy our airplanes, so I have no problem buying Japanese. Don't be jealous of the Japanese because they are better at controlling variation and producing quality/reliability. Stop buying inferior workmanship and the slack manufacturers will be forced to sraighten their act out or not use you to work the bugs out of "industry leading technology" or "design to market", then maybe I'll buy one. I prefer to keep my money local (US, state, town, etc), but not blindly.

Sorry to run on. Best on earth.....it's an advertising line, leave it alone. Best is too subjective. For my needs, Honda was best (this time) so it works for me.

I agree with parkgt. I will always want more, but for the most part I'm content.

What a load of BS that is!

Honda has, and will continue to build a very reliable and competitive line of quads. Like has been said previously, they may not always be the fastest or have the most features, but they're still Hondas and that's enough for me.

As for the comment that they keep raising prices, show me a brand that the prices haven't gone up on is the past 10 years.

Gas is more expensive now than it was 10 years ago (even yesterday) and so is the pay people ear. Inflation factors into the price of everything we buy.

One more thing, the Hondas you buy today, are made in the USA.
